Privacy Policy

The short version

mrv wallet is a non-custodial, self-custody wallet. We do not collect, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or personal information. Your data never leaves your device.

1. Information we do not collect

mrv wallet does not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or any account information (we have no accounts)
  • Your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet addresses
  • Your transaction history or portfolio data
  • Your location, contacts, or device identifiers
  • Any financial information

2. Local storage

All wallet data — including your encrypted private keys and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using your operating system's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). mrv wallet has no servers that store your keys or personal data.

3. Network requests

mrv wallet connects to public blockchain nodes and price data providers solely to enable wallet functionality (checking balances, broadcasting transactions, fetching token prices). These requests do not contain personal identifiers. We use reputable third-party RPC providers and may rotate them for performance and reliability.

4. Analytics and crash reporting

mrv wallet does not include third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, or similar). We do not track your in-app behavior.

In future versions, we may add optional, opt-in crash reporting to help improve stability. This will always be clearly disclosed and disabled by default.

5. Third-party services

mrv wallet integrates with the following categories of third-party services to provide functionality:

  • Blockchain nodes — for reading on-chain data and broadcasting transactions
  • Price data providers — for displaying token prices and portfolio values
  • Fiat on-ramp partners — if you choose to buy crypto with a card, you interact directly with the on-ramp provider, which has its own privacy policy and KYC requirements
  • DEX aggregators — for swap functionality; swap quotes are fetched without identifying information

We do not sell or share your data with any third parties for advertising or profiling purposes.

6. Children's privacy

mrv wallet is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of mrv wallet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
